Join the Isla Mar team to help develop coral reef conservation related communications and storytelling elements. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic person who works well independently and has some experience with science and/or communications (such as, developing science-related social media content, journalism, copyediting, etc). The ideal candidate also has some knowledge of graphic design programs with a creative eye for developing new and unique ways to present technical information in an easy-to-understand format for all viewers/listeners. The selected candidate will help Isla Mar develop a Coral Reef Optimism workshop, create a template for disseminating Isla Mar project results in "arroz y habichuelas" style format, assist in creating promotional materials for community activities, assist with scripting and storytelling of Isla Mar project videos, among other related tasks. As an internship, you will be mentored and guided with this position.
