Join the Isla Mar team to help coordinate our outreach activities including our on-going Citizen Science program. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic person who works well independently and has some experience with outreach planning and/or implementation (developing and leading an outreach event, creating promotional materials, coordinating volunteers, leading in a group setting, etc.). The ideal candidate also has some knowledge of Puerto Rico's cultural and political landscape and could assist in designing outreach activities geared towards governmental leadership. The selected candidate will help Isla Mar develop a youth citizen science program, plan and coordinate coral reef restoration activities for our political representatives, design outreach materials, locate and manage volunteers, develop blog posts and plan workshops, among other related tasks. As an internship, you will be mentored and guided with this position.
